Monsieur Makes Art! – Humor in Black and White
The multi-award-winning program “Monsieur Makes Art!” is, without exaggeration, definitely a highlight! And like a journey to another time.
With the clown Monsieur, you’re transported back to the beginning of the twentieth century. Pianist Nora Born accompanies him on a miniature grand piano, perfectly capturing the
silent film atmosphere. Monsieur is grim, dances on a tightrope, juggles, and manipulates all sorts of things — and especially the audience. Entirely wordless, visually stunning, impressive, and hilarious!
Lutherhof - 7:00 PM, 8:45 PM & 10:15 PM
Lasca Fox – A Festival on Two Wheels
What if Daft Punk, Jamiroquai, Tame Impala, Helge Schneider, and Prince played a festival together — on a bicycle trailer, performed by a single person? Then it’s high time for a concert by LASCA FOX.
The Berlin-based entertainer presents a rolling one-man show with the LASCA FOX MOBIL: Speakers, lights, fog machine, instruments — set up in just a few minutes, powered by solar energy. Completely emission-free. And he even travels by bike: Since
2022, over 12,000 kilometers — from Berlin to Finland.
Here, sustainability isn’t just a promise — it’s the show itself.

Ton_Kollektiv
from Leipzig has been performing since 2022 with an unusual sound: Instead of an electric bass, a tuba provides warm, rich depth and a distinctive tone. With drums, piano, guitar, trumpet, and trombone, their sound blends big-band aesthetics with modern pop, funk, jazz, and blues. At the heart of it all is Kezia Editha Christy, a singer and songwriter whose stage presence gives the evening its character. In addition to covers, they perform original compositions that continue to expand their repertoire. The program takes you through an evening full of music: from Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, and Michael Jackson to soul and funk classics, culminating in an ’80s medley featuring Major Tom — and a party to wrap it all up.

Diana Ezerex
Diana Ezerex makes empathy audible. Her music is pop with an edge — direct, unvarnished, and moving. Her lyrics highlight contradictions, address uncomfortable truths, and simultaneously create space for hope. She brings this perspective to the stage and to over 60 concerts in correctional facilities across German-speaking countries. Her multifaceted, moving voice ranges from delicate to powerful, inviting listeners to observe, empathize, and reflect. The songs take a stand: against exclusion, for belonging and acceptance. Live, they unfold their full power — accessible, rousing, uncompromising — oscillating between big hooks and quiet moments, between sharp edges and empathy.

“Wilhelm Schmied (1910 – 1984) – Forgotten Treasures: Cityscapes and Landscapes”
Wilhelm Schmied was a prominent painter and graphic artist who was born in Dresden and found his artistic home in the Mansfeld region. After completing a vocational apprenticeship and further artistic training, he developed as a self-taught artist in the GDR, gaining increasing recognition from the 1950s onward.
His works, characterized by industrial landscapes, cityscapes, and depictions of working people, powerfully reflect the connection between people, work, and the environment. Schmied always remained close to the people, opened his studio to the public, and was deeply committed to supporting emerging artists.
He received numerous awards for his work, including the National Prize of the GDR and the Art Prize of the GDR. Today, he is regarded as an important representative of German art after 1945.
West Hall – starting at 7:00 p.m.
“Cranach’s Heirs – 30 Years of the Youth Art School”
This year, the Youth Art School of the Cranach Foundation in Wittenberg is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
The exhibition features works by former students who are now active artists. It is complemented by a retrospective on the history of the Youth Art School, insights into current courses, as well as paintings, graphic works, and sculptures from the archives.
The Youth Art School teaches far more than just artistic techniques: it fosters perception, creativity, technical skills, and personal development. In an increasingly digital and functional world, art creates spaces for humanity, community, and democratic coexistence. For three decades, the Youth Art School has been firmly rooted in Wittenberg and has had an impact far beyond the city limits.
Westhalle — 7:30 PM, 8:30 PM, 10:00 PM & 11:00 PM
The Old Town Hall meets modern circus art
Modern circus art transports the audience to another world full of fantasy and wonder.
Handstand acrobatics meets contortion, music meets dance, the old meets the modern, the real meets the dreamlike.
With handstands and body control, Eleni-Charlotte Heddrich sparks the audience’s imagination and invites young and old alike to dream.
Ratssaal, 2nd Floor – 8:00 PM, 9:00 PM & 10:00 PM
Sideshow Charlatans
Two show-offs posing as psychics: A charming impresario presents a handful of attractions, all embodied in the incredibly gifted and multi-talented Ms. Thompson. She inflates her head like a balloon, reads minds, transmits touch, brings the strongest men to their knees, and summons poltergeists. These are fake miracles by real con artists in a cabinet of curiosities full of bizarre illusions.
Sia and Thomas Thompson (England/Germany) present feats in their multi-award-winning sideshow magic revue that are rarely, if ever, seen on German stages. These are clever routines with subtle humor, leaving the audience wondering at the end whether it’s all real or “just” a stylishly staged hoax by two exceptionally original magicians.
